What is the Parents’ Club?
Parents’ Club is parents and guardians working together to enhance their children’s educational experience.
Who Are the Members of theParents’ Club?
YOU – the mothers, fathers and guardians of all Holy Trinity students.
The Purpose of Parents’ Club?
- To be a communication link between parents and the school and the parishes.
- To raise funds that pay for a lot of extras that are not in the school budget.
- To inform and discuss important social and educational issues involving our children.
- To provide a common ground where parents and guardians can share their experiences and voice any questions or concerns they may have.
How are funds raised?
Fireworks Parking, Holiday Bazaar, Breakfast with Santa, Candy Sale, Market Day, SCRIP Certificates, Turfway Park Fundraiser, Dances, and much more… FYI – Last year Parents’ Club raised around $14,000
Examples of What We Do For Our Students:
- Field trips – Children’s Theater, Krohn Conservatory, Cincinnati Zoo, Newport Aquarium, Schneider’s Sweet Shop, etc.
- Receptions and Gifts – First Communion, First Reconciliation, Confirmation and Graduation, 8th grade t-shirts and trip deposit
- Scholarships - Five $200 scholarships for 8th graders
Examples of What We Do For Our Teachers:
- Start-up money for classrooms
- Gift Cards at Christmas
- Supply meals for the Teacher Appreciation Day and Parent/Teacher Conferences
- Purchase items on “Teachers’ Wish Lists”
Examples of What We Do For The School:
- Pay for copier maintenance at the Elementary
- Pay a portion of the Spanish teacher’s salary ($1500)
- Mulch for landscaping at both locations (Earth Day)
- Winter Celebration sponsor
- Purchase food for Walk-a-thon and Olympic Day
- Contribute money to ACUE for advertising
